Show Career Fair Participation and Job Readiness Activities

The Hawaii State Department of Education (HIDOE) serves our community by developing the academic achievement, character, and social-emotional well-being of our students to the fullest potential. HIDOE is one of the largest public school systems in the country. HIDOE has 293 unique schools on seven islands and more than 22,000 full-time and 20,000 part-time/casual employees with approximately 180,000 students.

HIDOE employs approximately 13,000 teachers, librarians and counselors, and an additional 12,000 educational officers, civil service and support personnel. Faculty and staff are from school level, Complex Area/District level, and State level and have expertise in industry sectors aligned to all CTE pathways. HIDOE can participate in Career Fairs to share the many employment opportunities in HIDOE.
