Walt Disney Imagineers worked hand in hand with local artisans and cultural experts to create Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. Inspired by the natural wonders and rich traditions of Hawai‘i, Aulani Resort is the ultimate family getaway—celebrating the beauty, history and welcoming spirit of the island.
Opportunity Details
Volunteer along-side Disney Aulani cast members on December 7, 2024 at Tripler Hospital Fisher Houses I & II.
The Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military & veteran families can stay free of charge, while a loved one is in the hospital. These homes are located at military and VA medical centers around the world. For the 2024 holiday seaon - Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa - will be decorating 2 Fisher Houses at Tripler Hospital, and we need members of the community to join our castmates to bring the magic!
Lunch will be provided to volunteers. Volunteers must be 14+ years old, and due to the physical nature of the work, volunteers must be able-bodied to climb ladders and lift objects. Shifts and responsibilities on 12/7 are as follows:
8am - 10am
• Sorting Decorations
• Moving / Lifting
• Age 14+
• Closed-toed Shoes
10am - 12pm
• Wreath placement
• Age 14+
10am - 2pm
• Decorating
• Electrical Work
• Ladder Work
• Age 14+
• Closed-toed Shoes (for ladder work only)
