NOAA Ocean Exploration is dedicated to exploring the unknown ocean, unlocking its potential through scientific discovery, technological advancements, and data delivery. By working closely with partners across public, private, and academic sectors, we are filling gaps in our basic understanding of the marine environment. Opportunity Details
During expeditions on NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer, NOAA Ocean Exploration may conduct a limited number of live ship-to-shore interactions, allowing for two-
way dialogue between scientists and engineers on the ship and interested groups on shore, such as students, guests at aquariums, expedition partners, and online viewers. These interactions typically last 30-45 minutes, are conducted using a video conferencing platform such as Google Meet or Zoom, and are available free to audiences by request.
To make your request for a live interaction, please include the requesting organization, audience, requested date(s) and times, time zone, anticipated number of participants, desired interaction length, and any special requests for staff or content. Note that we can not accommodate all requests as we can only host a limited number of live interactions per expedition.
