Born in Hilo, Hawai’i in 2012, Waiākea® set out to do more than just beverages—it’s about honoring the land, the people, and the responsibility that comes with both. As the first premium Hawaiian volcanic water and the first to embrace a triple bottom line, we put aloha ’āina at the heart of everything we do—caring for people and planet before profit. Sourced with the blessing of indigenous kupuna and konohiki, our water and coffee carry the purity of Hawai’i’s raw and untouched landscape, 2500 miles from the nearest industrial landmass, while fueling a greater purpose: expanding clean water access, championing conservation, and uplifting education in Hawai’i.
The Kōkua Initiative is committed to empowering the people of Hawai'i through a 3 piko approach that encourages educational opportunities, 'āina-based conservation & sustainability, and support for the most vulnerable in our community.
We also promote literacy with our Keiki by supplying books, as well as offering music lessons to vulnerable youth. In addition, we extend our kōkua through donations of provisions and volunteer hours to assist the most vulnerable members of our community. Our main goal is to uplift, nurture and empower our people of Hawaii.
